Eniola, the physically challenged hawker who gained fame online, has claimed that he had to flee from his home because of the mistreatment he endured from his family.
Recall that the young man gained widespread attention when he dressed as a lady to sell water, a move aimed at seeking financial assistance.
Nevertheless, his true gender was revealed after comedian Brain Jotter extended assistance by providing him with N600,000.
In a video circulating online, Eniola claimed that he experienced persistent mistreatment from his family, particularly citing physical abuse from his mother as the reason he decided to run away from home.
Nevertheless, during an interview with Akin Abolade, his mother clarified that her child’s name is Sultan, not Eniola, and emphasized that his real age is 18, contrary to the age of 23 claimed by Eniola.
She recounted that he left home in 2020. Expanding on her side of the story, the mother expressed deep pain over Eniola’s statements, asserting that among her four children, she loves him the most.
She conveyed, “I requested him to send me money yesterday when his video gained traction on social media and Nigerians were sending money to him. However, his response to me was, ‘mummy, don’t worry, it will soon be your turn, for now, it isn’t your turn.’ This boy has made me cry a lot.”
