Controversial investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has disclosed that Omowunmi, the wife of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, never conducted a DNA test for her son, Liam.
Kemi Olunloyo revealed that there was no request for a DNA swab or any other test from Mohbad’s corpse after his death while his body remained in the custody of pathologists and investigators. She mentioned that a fake tweet, sponsored by mischief makers online, led to several Twitter influencers posting about the supposed DNA test, but there was no actual DNA result to post.
She also noted that Mohbad’s father had stated in a BBC interview that he had attempted to kill Liam by drowning him in a river days before his own death. Kemi Olunloyo emphasized the need to avoid letting social media sentiments and media trials influence people, and she promised to provide updates on the situation.
