Moet Abebe, a 34-year-old on-air personality, recently caused a stir online by taking a jab at men who live on the mainland in Lagos State.
During a recent episode of the Bahd and Boujee podcast with BBNaija All Stars 2023 ex-housemate Tolanibaj, Moet Abebe made a statement that raised eyebrows. She asserted that she couldn’t date a man who lives on the mainland part of Lagos while she resides on the Island.
In her own words, “I’ve always said this thing, I can’t necessarily date someone that lives on the mainland.”
In response, 29-year-old Tolanibaj expressed that she could date a man from the mainland, despite living on the Island, as long as he comes when she calls him at 11 pm.
Moet Abebe provided her reasons for not wanting to date a man from the mainland, mentioning concerns about late-night visits and the presence of police on the streets as potential issues.
Reacting to this, Tolanibaj took it a step further, stating that she couldn’t date a man who had issues with the police and humorously adding that his man would always be accompanied by mobile police officers (Mopol).
