Prominent Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo mourns the tragic passing of singer Mohbad, who left us at the young age of 27.
On her Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo shared her reflections on the inevitability of death, describing Mohbad’s demise as shocking and painful. She also acknowledged that despite the common saying that we can’t question God, she has found herself questioning Him many times.
Iyabo Ojo vowed never to forget the three days they spent touring the UK together at the One Africa Music Festival. She remembered Mohbad as a calm, respectful, and jovial person.
Captioning her post, she wrote:
“Death ………. is one shocking and painful reality that is inevitable…. it’s so had to accept 🥲 We say we can’t question God, but God knows i have sinned against him. Bcos i have questioned him one too many times …… 😔 🙏
It’s a hard acceptance, to ri hmmmmmm eni kan lomo oooo At Mohbad, i will never forget those 3 days with toured together in the uk for the One Africa music fest…….. very calm, respectful, and at the same time jovial….. may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace 🙏 My condolences go out to his family, most especially his dear wife n son 🙏 may God grant you the fortitude to bear your loss… It is well 🙏”
