I’ve Been Living With My Present Husband For Years Before He Eventually Marry Me Despite Being A Choir In My Church – Comedian, Kie Kie

Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, professionally known as Kie Kie, a renowned Nigerian content producer, shared that during her time as a single woman, she and Tunji Ilori, her future husband, decided to live together.

This choice arose because her rental agreement was set to expire several months prior to their wedding. Kie Kie disclosed this during a recent episode of her podcast, “Toke Moments,” while conversing with media personality Toke Makinwa.

As per the mother of one, she was a member of her church choir while she and her husband were residing together in the same house, even before their official marriage. Surprisingly, the church remained unaware of their living arrangement.

She explained, “My husband and I began cohabiting before our marriage because my rental agreement was expiring. My rent was due in September, and our wedding was planned for January. So, renewing my rent wasn’t an option.

We had already completed our introduction ceremony, yet the church was unaware of our living situation. I even continued singing in the church choir during that time.”

The comedienne also shared that she initially had fears about marriage but overcame them through prayer, ultimately taking the step towards marriage.
