Popular Nigerian comedian, Adeyela Adebola, widely recognized as Lizzy Jay, has openly shown her desire to adopt the child who was tragically thrown into a river by their mother.
The content creator, also known as Omo Badan, voiced this sentiment in response to the viral video depicting the rescue of the child.
As previously reported by Intel Region, a kind-hearted individual rescued the baby who had been thrown into a river along Badagry road by the mother.
In a widely circulated video, a man can be observed rescuing a baby from a river after the infant was thrown into the water by their mother.
During questioning, the mother, who seemed to be suffering from mental instability, expressed her weariness with life. She additionally mentioned that the baby had already undergone a naming ceremony and therefore felt it was time for the child to depart from the world.
Good Samaritans who witnessed the incident promptly rescued the baby and rushed them to the hospital.
