Just a few days after singer Davido generously gifted a young skitmaker with N2 million, expressing his amusement with her skits, he took to his verified Twitter account on September 1st, 2023, to announce his intention to assist a physically challenged man named Adebisi Micheal.
In a video captured by BBC, the physically challenged man, who relies on a wheelchair due to his disability, reveals how a simple “Like” from Davido on his tweet has transformed his life.
Adebisi Micheal explained that he had replied to Davido’s tweet, in which the singer expressed his intention to provide 20 million Naira to 20 people with promising business ideas. Adebisi, in his response, revealed that he operates a football viewing center business and outlined the specific requirements he needed to enhance his enterprise.
Although Davido had liked his tweet without a direct response, the singer’s influence on the post amplified its reach, enabling Adebisi to receive financial assistance and gifts from a wider audience. During his interview with BBC, Adebisi discussed the ongoing financial challenges he faces in managing his football viewing center.
In response to this, Davido instructed Adebisi to share his bank account details so that he could provide him with assistance.
