“”You’re A B@stard Child For Staging Elaborate Wedding while Your Parents Are In Prison In The UK”- Igbokwe Tackles Ekweremadu’s Son For Staging Wedding In Parents Absence.

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent APC leader in Lagos, has criticized Lloyd Ike Ekweremadu Jnr for hosting an extravagant wedding while his parents remain imprisoned.

Igbokwe expressed concern about the values of the younger generation, suggesting that Lloyd should have opted for a more modest celebration until his parents are released from jail.

Ike and Beatrice Ekweremadu, Lloyd’s parents, are currently serving sentences for organ trafficking in the UK.

Meanwhile, the former deputy Senate president, Ekweremadu, and his wife were not present at the wedding due to their ongoing imprisonment in the UK.

He pointed out that Lloyd should have opted for a modest wedding and waited until his parents were released before hosting an extravagant one. Mr. Igbokwe expressed,

If I were in Ekweremadu’s son’s shoes, I wouldn’t have organized such an elaborate wedding while my parents are in prison. I would have chosen a more low-key marriage ceremony and postponed the grand celebration until my parents regain their freedom. The behaviors of this generation truly scares me”

Nigerians have responded with a mix of emotions to Igbokwe’s Facebook post about Lloyd’s recent wedding.

Naijalegit captured a range of reactions to the post. Yariman Buhari Maijamaa expressed,

Egbon Joe Igbokwe, I get your point. But considering Ekweremadu’s status, this wedding isn’t elaborate.
