Renowned Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, widely recognized as Bobrisky, is in mourning as his father, Kunle Okuneye, has passed away. Debola Okuneye,
one of the late Kunle Okuneye’s sons, confirmed the sad news to The Punch on Monday, August 14th, revealing that his father had passed away in the early hours of the day.
He said
Indeed, my father passed away earlier today, and we are currently organizing arrangements for his funeral.
The departed will be laid to rest in accordance with Islamic traditions at 4 pm today, as stated by Lastborn, the secretary of Beach Nigeria Enterprises. This car rental company operates from the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, where the late Okuneye held a position as one of its directors.
Okuneye, who hails from Ijebu-Igbo in Ogun State, will be interred in his place of origin.
In June 2021, it’s worth noting that Bobrisky pleasantly amazed his father by gifting him a brand-new Lexus SUV for his birthday. The distinctively styled entrepreneur posted images of the new car on his Instagram page that Tuesday.
