The well-known Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, is gearing up to compete with Young Duu as he recently dropped a new song titled ‘Monke.’
“Monke” is a popular slang previously associated with Portable’s former signee, Young Duu. Young Duu had reportedly been dismissed from Zeh Nation due to claims that he brought bad luck to the music group, according to Portable.
Fans have been ridiculing Portable for attempting to compete with someone who is still establishing a name for himself, and now his former boss is challenging him.
Portable expressed,
“They want to see ZEHNATION in us.”

Fans are taking a dig at Portable for engaging in what they consider an immature competition with a younger artist. Some comments from fans include:
@Fati_wey_no_fat: “Your hatred will only drive us to stream Young Duu’s music to the top, and you can cry as much as you want.”
@Stanley_6_to_6: “All of Young Duu’s supporters here, like my comment and comment below 👇 Young Duu is global now.”
@Boydara: “You’re dressing like a masquerade 😂. I’ve been rocking that same attire since 2020 😂.”
@Wizkid_blogger_: “We don’t want to see you 😂. We’re waiting for Oyimo 😂.”
@Official_horlaidey9: “Release your music and let Young Duu release his. We’ll see which one people stream more.”
@Bluetooth_cathering_event: “All of this isn’t necessary. We love Young Duu no matter what. You chased him away without any reason, and now that he’s doing well, you bring someone who sings something similar to his hit. This is what the Yoruba call ‘Alenibare’ (from grass to grace).”
