Rewrite One month has elapsed since the untimely and mysterious passing of the renowned music sensation, Mohbad, who tragically left this world on September 12 at the age of 27.
His death has sent shockwaves across the nation, leaving many in the entertainment industry, including his colleagues and fans, searching for answers.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, provided the public with an update on the ongoing police investigations. He also offered some clarifications on their findings. One significant case involved Feyisayo Ogedengbe, who is the nurse connected to Mohbad’s untimely death. The police’s belief is that Mohbad passed away due to an injection administered by the nurse.
In the most recent development, the mother of Feyisayo Ogedengbe has come forward, appealing to Nigerians for help. She passionately asserted her daughter’s innocence, emphasizing that Feyisayo is a trained auxiliary nurse who had been providing medical care to Mohbad’s friend, who initially requested the nurse’s assistance. She explained, “Feyisayo is a trained auxiliary nurse who has been treating Spending (Mohbad’s friend) for some time.
When Mohbad needed a nurse, Spending called Feyi that his friend needed treatment for a cut he had in his hand, and my daughter went there. She met Mohbad’s wife, his younger brother, his personal assistant, and his friend. Feyi said what she gave to Mohbad couldn’t have killed him… Paracetamol, antibiotics, and anti-tetanus. The police never declared her wanted. I took her to the station myself, and they detained her. It’s been over 23 days now, and they said they will not release her until the autopsy result is out.
They said the autopsy was done abroad and it would take a while. Nigerians, please help me. I am a single mother. They want to implicate my daughter. There is foul play somewhere over Mohbad’s death.”
