In response to the leaked tape involving Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal, investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo has made serious allegations against the actress.
Kemi Olunloyo took to her Instagram page to reveal that the man in the video, identified as Mr. Saheed Olasunkanmi, was never Moyo Lawal’s boyfriend or fiance.
She stated that Moyo Lawal had lied about his identity, similar to what Tiwa Savage did when her tape leaked, and alleged that her partner was her lover.
Kemi Olunloyo further claimed that Saheed disclosed to her that he had been paid by Moyo Lawal as a gigolo to engage in intimate activities and film the tape. Additionally, Saheed claimed to have been paid by two other Nollywood actresses for similar videos.
She concluded by suggesting that this revelation might have significant implications within the Nollywood industry, particularly for the AGN (Actors Guild of Nigeria) and TAMPAN (Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria).
This development comes shortly after Moyo Lawal issued a public statement regarding her leaked tape.
On her Instagram page, Moyo Lawal expressed that the video had been released without her consent, constituting a violation of her privacy and trust. She clarified that the video featured her ex-partner, whom she had intended to marry, and was never intended for public viewing.
The actress, known for her curvaceous figure, warned of potential legal action against those responsible for the unauthorized distribution of the video and more.
Several of her colleagues, including Mary Njoku, Uche Maduagwu, Prince Eke, and others, responded to the situation.
Mary Njoku criticized Nigerians for frequently blaming the victims, while Uche Maduagwu called for the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) to suspend Moyo Lawal, and Prince Eke questioned whether any brands would still want to associate with her.
