Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has criticized his colleague, Iyabo Ojo, for accusing Naira Marley of drugging her children’s food.
According to reports, Iyabo Ojo recently revealed her personal grudge against the controversial singer, apart from the late singer Mohbad’s case. She mentioned that she believed Naira Marley was a reasonable person and would send her children to his home.
Iyabo claimed that Naira Marley drugged the food and drinks served to her kids, with three or four witnesses attesting to the incident. She also stated that she would pursue her case against Naira Marley once justice was served in Mohbad’s case.
In response, Yomi Fabiyi questioned on Instagram why Iyabo Ojo did not defend her kids when Naira Marley allegedly made such advances towards them. He suggested that no mother would remain silent in such a situation and speculated that the actress might have fabricated the accusation to implicate Naira Marley.
Yomi Fabiyi further suggested that Iyabo Ojo’s children should be invited for questioning by the police and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
Yomi Fabiyi expressed his concerns, stating:
“I don’t understand why Iyabo sent her adult children to Naira Marley’s house in the first place. She accused Naira of drugging their food, yet she called herself a mother. She didn’t stand up for her children at the time… Perhaps she fabricated this accusation to incriminate Naira. If her daughter was indeed drugged, was she already involved in drugs? In such a situation, what mother would stay silent? The NDLEA and the police have heard her claims but remain silent. How can our country improve? I believe the NDLEA should invite her, along with her children, for investigation.”
