In recent days, Iyabo Ojo has been embroiled in an online dispute with the up-and-coming social media self-proclaimed activist, Very Dark Man, regarding the ongoing trial of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
The disagreement revolves around Naira Marley’s alleged role in Mohbad’s case. Iyabo Ojo publicly called out Very Dark Man on her verified Instagram page for supporting Naira Marley, and in turn, Very Dark Man responded by revealing personal information about both of them.
As per VeryDarkMan’s claims, there was a close relationship between Iyabo Ojo and Naira Marley, to the extent that he sent her flowers. In a video shared by VDM, Iyabo initially assumed the flowers were meant for her daughter. This raised questions about potential connections between Naira Marley, Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, and Iyabo Ojo herself.
In response, Iyabo Ojo penned a comprehensive post on Instagram, highlighting how people had used similar allegations when she defended Baba Ijesha, falsely claiming she was in a romantic relationship with him.
Iyabo emphasized that the age-old tactic of slut-shaming is the primary weapon used against women and it has become outdated.
She went on to assert that her haters and critics would need to enlist millions of others because they do not measure up to her.
