Social activist Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkBlackMan, and his biological mother, known as Mama Black, have issued a response after receiving criticism from actress Iyabo Ojo.
The conflict began when VeryDarkBlackMan posted a video on his Instagram page on October 29, 2023, in which he called out Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, and some bloggers regarding the ongoing Mohbad investigation case.
In the video, VeryDarkBlackMan criticized Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh for consistently opposing Mohbad’s father while supporting Mohbad’s wife. He further referred to Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh as failed actresses.
Iyabo Ojo strongly reacted to VeryDarkBlackMan’s video, expressing her displeasure in an aggressive manner.
In her response video, Iyabo Ojo criticized VeryDarkBlackMan and his mother, referring to them as failures. She described VeryDarkBlackMan’s mother as an individual who gave birth to someone she considered worthless and living in extreme poverty.
Iyabo Ojo went on to criticize Davido, Gossipmill, and Tunde Ednut for consistently giving VeryDarkBlackMan the spotlight.
Iyabo Ojo stated, “VeryDarkMan, you are an idiot and a lazy person. Your mother is a significant failure; she failed in raising you. I blame GossipMill, Tunde Ednut, and Davido for making you famous. If not for them, your life would have been a pitiable case.”
In response to Iyabo Ojo’s comments, VeryDarkBlackMan released a new video where he called his church-going mother to inform her about the insults from Iyabo Ojo. His mother expressed disappointment in Iyabo Ojo’s lack of respect and prayed for her to gain better understanding and a repentant heart.
VeryDarkBlackMan, on his part, harshly criticized Iyabo Ojo, mentioning that her private parts were unclean and expressing wonder about how her current partner, Paulo, could tolerate her.
In a continued rant, VeryDarkBlackMan mentioned that he is aware of Iyabo Ojo’s unpaid taxes to the Lagos State Government. He sarcastically suggested that he has a wealthy friend who could host both the actress and her daughter, Priscilla, for a threesome, insinuating that doing so multiple times might help her raise the funds to settle her tax debt.
He further speculated that Iyabo Ojo’s animosity towards Naira Marley may be because the singer rejected her advances and declined to sign her cousin to his record label.
