Renowned Nollywood actress and film producer, Ruth Kadiri, took to social media to share her distress after falling victim to a scam by an online vendor who swindled her of N230,000.
The talented mother of two had placed an order with an Instagram vendor specializing in body shapers and waist trainers. Despite her persistent efforts, she never received the items she paid for.
Expressing her frustration, Ruth Kadiri appealed to the seller to either deliver the purchased products or refund her N230,000.
Frustrated by the lack of response to her messages, Ruth Kadiri expressed her exasperation at how challenging it has become to trust online vendors these days.
Sharing receipts of their transaction, she appealed,
“Please help me beg them to deliver my product or refund me! The economy is tough. Jesus, they’re not responding to my messages anymore!!! Trust is a rare commodity these days.”
