Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial journalist, has made some surprising claims about the late musician, MohBad, stating that he owned a property worth N175 million while he was alive. She disclosed on social media that MohBad received Naira Marley’s payment of N300 million in song royalties before his passing.
MohBad also started his own company, Imolenization, purchased a mansion valued at N175 million, and was on the verge of buying an N40 million SUV.
Kemi further alleged that MohBad misled those around him by pretending that he was only “renting” the house, for reasons known only to him, and that the property had CCTV installed, which had been intentionally turned off. In her statement, Kemi said, “#justice4MohBad UPDATE MohBad was settled by Naira Marley for the N300M in song royalties before he died. You chose to abuse me. I will only drop updates and you can share them.
He set up his new business Imolenization and purchased this N175M house and was about to buy a N40M SUV. MohBad lied to those around him that he was just ‘renting’ the house for reasons best known to him. The house was equipped with CCTV. It was working well until someone deliberately disconnected it.”
