Wizkid, professionally known as Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, was captured in a poignant video today shedding tears during the wake-keep and tribute service for his late mother.
Tragically, on August 18th, 2023, Wizkid, a Grammy Award-Winner, lost his beloved mother, Jane Dolapo, to the cruel hands of death. He has since returned to Lagos, Nigeria, where a candlelight procession was held last night, on October 11th, 2023.
Nevertheless, at the funeral service today, Wizkid, accompanied by Jada and his son, Zion Balogun, was present. He was observed shedding tears during the wake-keep for his mother.
