During an interview with TVC, the mother of the late singer Mohbad revealed a prophecy she received from a prophetess regarding her son before his birth. In her own words:
“My firstborn was about two years old when my husband’s elder sister, who was a prophetess, told me that she had a vision. She saw that the next baby I would have would be a glorious child sent by God to the world for a specific purpose.
She said he would have special favor on me as his mother and that he would have a significant impact on Nigeria. She even told me his name would be ILERIOLUWA (God’s Promise).
She referred to him as God’s general. That baby is Mohbad. The world can be a cruel place, and it makes me fear for him even more.”
