The actor clarifies that Mide Martin was not residing in Nigeria at the time but in the United States of America.
Upon her return to Nigeria, their relationship was characterized by mutual respect, with her informing him before making any decisions. Even her parents would report to him when she erred.
Furthermore, he shared the touching story of how Mide Martin’s mother, Funmi Martin, provided him with two hundred and fifty thousand naira to produce her debut movie, which he believes played a pivotal role in shaping his life.
