Davido, the acclaimed Afrobeat singer, also known as David Adeleke, has announced his intention to return to Nigeria for the late singer Mohbad’s candlelight event.

The singer, who was one of the first celebrities to express his condolences for the former Marlian signee, shared that he will be flying back to Nigeria this week to participate in the candlelight procession and tribute.

The candlelight procession is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 21st, at the Lekki Phase 1 gate at 5 pm, while the tribute concert will commence at 8 pm at Muri Okunola Park.
