An anonymous individual from Nigeria has alleged that the late Nigerian singer Mohbad’s spouse was reportedly subjected to physical violence by Naira Marley and his associates. This alleged incident is said to have occurred because she refused to sell balloons containing narcotics.
In the video below, the man claims that Mohbad’s wife personally experienced a beating at the hands of Naira Marley’s associates, which happened concurrently with an incident where her husband, Mohbad, was also assaulted.
Though the man made his statement in the Yoruba language, it has been translated into English:
“Marlian Records had previously beaten Mohbad’s wife. She was physically assaulted. While they were beating her husband, they also beat her. She herself confirmed that she had been subjected to violence before.”
“Why were they beating her? They demanded that she assist in selling balloons containing drugs (Carnistan).”
“She explained that she had been beaten when Naira Marley instructed her to peddle the aforementioned drugs. This ongoing matter is complex; if we delve into it, we’ll have to address Naira Marley’s involvement.”
This statement was made in the context of the ongoing investigation by the Nigerian police to determine the cause of the Nigerian singer Mohbad’s death, which occurred days earlier.
