The late singer Mohbad’s father, Joseph Ayoba, has revealed that he currently has 1 million naira out of the 2 million naira that Davido sent to him following his son’s passing.
Joseph Ayoba disclosed this in a video that surfaced online. It should be recalled that the renowned singer Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, had sent 2 million naira to Mohbad’s father as a gesture of support.
In the video, Mr. Joseph Ayoba explained that he only has 1 million naira remaining from the 2 million sent by Davido. He clarified that 1 million was used by Mohbad’s friend, known as Da Rocha, to purchase a coffin and arrange for the burial, but Da Rocha later returned 100,000 naira.
He further mentioned that since that time, he hasn’t seen any of Mohbad’s friends except for Da Rocha, who returned the 100,000 naira out of the 1 million.
