A recent video has emerged featuring Naira Marley’s close friend, Sam Larry, discussing the concept of death just a day before the tragic passing of singer Mohbad, sparking online reactions.
In the video, which was originally posted on Monday, September 11th, 2023 (and is now deleted), the Lagos socialite confidently asserted that in real life, once someone is dead, they are gone for good, contrary to what is depicted in movies where the dead can reappear.
It’s worth noting that singer Mohbad tragically passed away on September 12th, 2023, at the age of 27, and was subsequently laid to rest on September 13th, 2023, in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Prior to his untimely death, Mohbad had filed a petition detailing an assault by Sam Larry and his associates during a music video shoot with Zlatan Ibile, resulting in damage to music equipment worth N5 million. The petition also indicated their association with Oba Elegushi’s family. However, the Royal family has denied any affiliation with Sam Larry and confirmed his relocation to Kenya.
In the now-deleted video from Monday, Sam Larry shared his thoughts on death, emphasizing that responding to negative comments on social media was unnecessary, as people would eventually meet in real life, where those who criticize him would meet their end. He also noted that the appearance of ghosts as spirits and fighters only occurs in movies.
Here are the reactions:
gbadamosiadebimpe: 💔💔💔 How did people’s hearts become so dark? Naira Marley and Sam Larry, how do you sleep at night?
slim.girl.gram: This man is so confident, as if nothing will ever happen to him. 😢 Rest in peace, Mohbad.
baruq9265: Such a wicked person. 😡
chiblazerj: Nobody lives forever. He’s gone now, and his tormentors will also pass away someday. His peace might be greater than theirs. God is not like humans. Rest in peace, Mohbad.
colufunke_marquis: They were consumed by jealousy of his success. What people don’t understand, they fear, and what they fear, they try to destroy.
emlizz_arielle: 😢😢😢 God, these people seem like they belong in the jungle; they don’t deserve to live among humans. 😭😭😭
