The criticism stemmed from a video shared by Oga Bello in which he was endorsing an alcoholic drink and inviting his fans to participate in the “Say a Prayer” challenge associated with the beverage.
A fan expressed concern in the comments, citing religious beliefs that prohibit alcohol consumption and anything related to it. This prompted the actor to respond and address the issue.
The fan’s message read, “Salam alaykum sir. I am from ILORIN too, and I want to call your attention to this, sir. Our religion does not allow the drinking of alcohol or anything associated with it. Seeing you as their ambassador really touched my mind, sir.”
