Experiencing a surge of emotions, Nollywood star Foluke Daramola Salako embarks on a sentimental voyage as her daughter marks a significant milestone on her 18th birthday. In commemoration of this occasion, the Yoruba actress fondly recollects giving birth to her daughter prematurely, only 10 months after conception.
Despite the early arrival, she’s astounded by her daughter’s remarkable maturity, which surpasses her age group.
Foluke praised her daughter for her exceptional approach to surmounting challenges, impressive academic prowess, integrity, and most importantly, her empathetic outlook towards others.
She penned: “Today marks the 18th birthday of my firstborn, my confidante, my younger sibling, the rhythm of my heart. I can’t contain my excitement. Ibukunoluwa, I remember you arrived after a full 10 months, proving your eagerness to join us. Your maturity level has consistently outshone your peers, adeptly managing whatever comes your way. You’ve consistently excelled in your studies. Your insights are both discerning and kind, and when it’s time for honesty, you always provide it, even when I think I’ve got things right. ANIKE, I have a lot to share with you. It feels like just yesterday I welcomed you, and now you’re 18. Astonishing! It’s been a journey guided by the divine.
