Habeeb Okikiola, a Nigerian street vocalist recognized as Portable, has now addressed the speculations regarding his rumored involvement with Queen Dami, the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife.

As reported by Naijalegit a few days ago, news circulated about the potential romantic connection between the former Alaafin’s wife and Portable, who had recently tied the knot with an actress.

Gist Lover, a blogger known for stirring controversy, claimed that the mother of one is romantically linked with Portable. This assertion was supported by screenshots of their interactions shared by the blogger.

The comments, gathered from various instances, showcased affectionate exchanges where they referred to each other as “my king” and “queen,” alongside the use of love emojis.

In an interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Portable indirectly suggested that he shares a relationship with her.

Dismissing rumors, the man who has five children clarified that he isn’t the father of her child. He clarified that Queen Dami was merely a fan before the demise of her husband, the King.

He explained that the situation changed from that point on, as he holds the principle of not engaging in affairs with married individuals.

“No, the Alaafin of Oyo is the child’s father. She has been my fan from the start, but after the King, it’s only King. If the King were still alive, you wouldn’t see me with her. I don’t pursue relationships with married individuals.”

It’s worth mentioning that following the news of their alleged involvement, Queen Dami took to her Instagram story to express her affection for Portable. She posted a video of herself enjoying his song and tagged him in it.

Portable is a father of five children from four women, including his wife. He is married to Bewaji Zainab Badmus and has a son with up-and-coming actress Ashabi. He also shares kids with two other baby mamas.
