The Nigerian entertainment industry is in grief as the news of veteran actor Musiliu Ajikanle’s, also known as “Baba Ajikanle,” passing spreads rapidly.
He passed away shortly after Pastor Agbala Gabriel raised funds for him following a seven-year battle with stroke.
One of his colleagues, Saliu Gbolagade, took to his Instagram page to announce the sorrowful news.
He shared a photo of the late actor with a heartfelt caption, “Ina Lilah Waina Allah Rajiun. God gave each of us the gift of life, and God gifted us with eternal life. Rest well, my dear friend Musiliu Ajikanle. Your footsteps can never be filled, nor your love ever forgotten. May the blessings of a good life lived follow you into heaven.”
Sola Kosoko shared a heartfelt message in the comment section of Saliu Gbolagade’s post to express her deep sorrow at his passing.
She wrote, “OMG. This is truly heartbreaking. May his soul rest in peace 🙏.”
Mr. Protable, another associate of the late actor, also expressed his condolences on social media. He wrote, “Alahuakbar 😭😭😭” to convey his grief.
Adebayo Salami also shared his condolences in the comment section of Saliu Gbolagade’s post. He wrote, “Haaaaaaaaaa innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiun,” expressing his grief and praying for the departed soul.
Mr. Latin also commented, expressing that it is a significant loss. “R.I.P Kanle,” he wrote, joining others in mourning the departed actor.
