In a heartwarming and compassionate display of kindness and support, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the esteemed Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, pleasantly surprised veteran actor Baba Agbako during the momentous celebration of his 100th birthday in Abeokuta on Thursday, 20th of July.

Amidst the joyous festivities, Primate Ayodele was honored and decorated as the life patron and spiritual father of the Theatre Arts And Motions Pictures Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (TAMPAN). The event saw the attendance of numerous Nollywood actors and actresses, including Bolaji Amusan (Mr. Latin), Odunlade Adekola, Yemi Solade, Charles Olumo, Owolabi Ajasa, among others, who joined in the celebration.

During the ceremony, the Ogun state TAMPAN president, Owolabi Ajasa, spoke about the reason for bestowing the title of Life Patron on Primate Ayodele, praising the cleric’s global prophetic prowess.

Mr. Latin, who has been following Primate Ayodele for more than three decades, also showered the esteemed clergy with praises.

In his response, Primate Ayodele expressed gratitude to TAMPAN for recognizing him, and in a remarkable gesture, he presented veteran actor Charles Oluomo (Baba Agbako) with a generous gift of N500,000 Naira and promised him a monthly salary of 100k for the rest of his life.

Moreover, Primate Ayodele donated another N500,000 to the association to support their laudable event. He also proposed the establishment of a foundation for old veterans in the entertainment industry, urging the group to include him in it. The foundation’s purpose would be to provide for the well-being of these veterans, ensuring they do not have to resort to begging to meet their needs. Primate Ayodele pledged to contribute his share to this foundation.

Additionally, he encouraged the association to organize prayer programs for long life among actors and actresses, expressing a sincere desire to prevent the untimely deaths of young talents in the industry by seeking God’s intervention in their affairs.

This touching and benevolent act by Primate Elijah Ayodele left Baba Agbako deeply moved and grateful, marking a turning point in his life and career as he felt the warmth and support from the spiritual leader and the entire industry.
