Media personality Daddy Freeze has taken a mocking stance towards Bishop Daniel Oluwafeyiropo, the founder of 1 Reign Christian Ministry, who has been remanded by a Lagos court due to a rape allegation.
In response to the news, Daddy Freeze expressed his mockery of the clergyman via his Instagram page. He playfully taunted the self-proclaimed “King of Prophesies” for his inability to foresee his own imprisonment, sarcastically referring to him as “Our guy… King of Prophesies. Prophet of laif.”
Prophet Feyi Daniel Remanded by Lagos Court for Rape Charges
In a recent development, Prophet Feyi Daniels, the founder of 1 Reign Christian Ministry, has been remanded by the Ikeja Sexual Offenses and Domestic Violence Court in Lagos. He stands accused of allegedly raping a 25-year-old woman while “speaking in tongues.”
During his arraignment before Justice Ramon Oshodi, Prophet Feyi Daniels pleaded not guilty to three amended counts related to rape and sexual assault. The alleged incidents took place at the clergyman’s residence in Lekki, Lagos state.
The trial commenced with the victim, a member of Bishop Feyi Daniels’ church, providing her testimony. Led in evidence by Babajide Boye, the state lead counsel, the 23-year-old assistant pastor recounted her ordeal, stating that she was raped twice by the bishop.
According to her account, she first encountered Bishop Feyi Daniel on May 28, 2018, when she was invited by a friend to a church program in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, where the cleric ministered. Subsequently, she became a member of 1 Reign Christian Ministry and eventually rose to the position of assistant pastor.
The witness revealed that Pastor Boluwatishe Oladejo took over as the lead pastor from Pastor Toyosi Bamise during her time at the church. She further testified that the bishop, whom she regarded as her spiritual father, allegedly raped her on June 21, 2020, at his residence in Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos State.
The court proceedings will continue as the case unfolds.
