Earlier this year, Raymond Dokpesi’s travel plans took an unexpected turn when he was reportedly arrested at Heathrow Airport in London on the morning of January 8, 2023.

According to reports, Dokpesi was apprehended upon his arrival at Heathrow Airport. He had boarded Lufthansa Flight LH916 from Frankfurt to London and was subsequently picked up at Terminal 2 of the airport.

A witness who was present on the flight shared their account, stating that the passengers were instructed to remain seated upon landing as the police were planning an operation. Shortly after the aircraft touched down, the police entered the plane and identified Raymond Dokpesi before taking him into custody.
