Just a few hours ago, Kemity, a renowned Yoruba actress, took to her social media platform to share a distressing incident she recently faced. She earnestly requested people not to send money to her Wema Bank account, as she had fallen victim to a fraudulent act around 8:11 pm. Kemity explained that the unfortunate incident occurred when her personal assistant lost her ATM card, and before they could reach out to the bank’s customer care, unauthorized transactions had already taken place, resulting in four debits from her account.
In a follow-up update, the actress revealed that she had promptly blocked her ATM card to prevent further unauthorized access. Despite the setback, Kemity remained positive, expressing her unwavering faith in God and stating that while the thieves took her money, they couldn’t take away her life.
The actress also touched upon her demanding schedule on various film sets, which often leaves her with little time to rest.
