Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has expressed her response to the ongoing defamation of her fellow colleague and former best friend, Angela Okorie, on social media.
Accompanied by a picture of herself looking surprised, Anita Joseph emphasized the importance of peace over any form of violence.
In her words, “Oh wow, wwoooooooooow. No violence, please. Shalom.”

In the midst of her ongoing feud with Uche Elendu, Angela Okorie involved Anita Joseph, her former best friend, in the conflict. On her Instagram page, Angela shared a photo of Anita and launched a hurtful attack, labeling her the most useless of her friends. However, Angela refrained from revealing Anita’s secrets due to her husband, Femi Olagunju, whom she described as a good person.
Angela Okorie sternly warned her other colleagues not to interfere in her dispute with Uche, stating that she would use them as examples if they did.
Addressing the allegations made by blogger Gistlover about their beef being related to a man, Angela Okorie clarified that her conflict with Uche and others was not over men. Instead, she opened up about the real reason behind their strained relationships. Angela recounted how a said colleague (possibly Uche Elendu) recorded a video of her during a difficult time and sent it to blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus. Angela expressed her disbelief and hurt, questioning the actions of someone who would betray her trust in such a manner, mocking her during her most vulnerable moments.
Angela went on to share that despite their pretense of love, these individuals were envious of the blessings that God had bestowed upon her. Her pain and betrayal were evident as she confronted the actions of those she once considered friends.
