In his social media appeal, ADEWALE ALEBIOSU explained that despite his long career in acting, he has been unable to purchase a plot of land or even a car. He shared the struggles of his children, who become envious when they see other parents driving their kids to school, but he continually reassures them to be patient.
Having featured in numerous Yoruba movies, Adewale ALEBIOSU pleaded for help, expressing his fear of dying in poverty. He highlighted the unfortunate reality that many talented veteran actors have passed away without having land for their burial. Since he began his acting journey in 1978, he implored his fans to support him.
Emotionally overwhelmed, Adewale Alebiosu broke down in tears, conveying his deep distress and vulnerability.
In recent news, a video surfaced online featuring Adewale Alebiosu making accusations against some of his colleagues in the industry, including Jaiye Kuti and Odunlade Adekola. He claimed that they have taken advantage of him. During an interview, the actor, known for his role as a native doctor in movies, shared a disheartening experience. He disclosed that he was once paid a meager sum of 3,000 naira for appearing in 11 scenes in a movie.
In the emotionally charged video, Adewale Alebiosu expressed his profound disappointment at receiving such an absurdly low amount for his hard work and dedication, considering the significant number of times he appeared in the movie. This incident occurred just days before Christmas, a time when he had hoped to earn enough money to provide for his family. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of his expectations.
After receiving the meager payment, Adewale Alebiosu tearfully boarded a bus and wept throughout the journey back home.
