While it remains uncertain whether she is shooting the sequel to Omo Ghetto: The Saga or a new installment of Battle on Buka Street, glimpses of characters from the former have been regularly seen on Funke Akindele’s timeline, leaving fans excited and curious.
Furthermore, Funke Akindele recently teased her fans with the second part of her movie, Omo Ghetto: The Saga. Responding to a fan’s question on Twitter about whether they should anticipate the sequel, she declared that Omo Ghetto: The Saga 2 is indeed in the works.
It’s worth noting that Funke Akindele’s Omo Ghetto: The Saga broke the four-year box office record held by Kemi Adetiba, becoming the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time. Although it currently occupies the second spot, it was dethroned by Funke Akindele’s latest movie, Battle on Buka Street.
