Ace comedian and content creator, Debo Adebayo, better known as Mr. Macaroni, recently shared a powerful testimony of how he found hope and divine intervention after enduring expulsion from four universities and battling depression.
Using the micro-blogging platform, Mr. Macaroni, known for his candidness, reflected on the trying times he faced. He revealed that he experienced a deep period of depression in late 2017 and 2018, coinciding with his expulsion from his fourth university.
During this challenging phase, Mr. Macaroni found solace in his own life, which he likened to a captivating movie that others could watch. He admitted that he had little interest in watching films at that time, as his personal journey was captivating enough.
The depression persisted from 2018 to 2019, during which Mr. Macaroni continued to pursue roles in Nollywood, going from one audition to another. He candidly shared his experiences of being scammed and the financial burden of paying for audition forms, all in pursuit of his acting dreams.
In late 2019, when depression was taking its toll on him, Mr. Macaroni found a glimmer of hope through creating and sharing content online. It was during this period that he discovered his comedic talents and began to post his skits, which ultimately became a turning point in his life.
In a testament to the power of faith and perseverance, Mr. Macaroni expressed gratitude as he revealed that God answered his call in the same year, providing him with the breakthrough he had long awaited.
