Afrobeat sensation Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni Entertainer, is overjoyed after winning a staggering $50,000 (approximately N75 million) from her stake in the recent English Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester City.
Taking to her Instagram story, Teni shared her betting slip, revealing that she had placed a $25,000 wager on Arsenal to emerge victorious against Manchester City.
Remember, on Sunday, February 2, Arsenal played against Manchester City, the reigning Premier League champions, and won the match 5-1.
Arsenal took an early lead with Martin Odegaard’s goal just two minutes in. Although Manchester City’s Haaland briefly equalized in the 55th minute, Arsenal quickly regained the advantage with goals from Thomas Partey, Myles Lewis-Skelley, Kai Havertz, and a final strike from Ethan Nwaneri, sealing the 5-1 win.
