Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to fans, friends, and colleagues for the immense love and support shown during her son Khalid Balogun’s recent graduation.
Earlier in the week, Faithia shared the joyous news of her son earning a first-class degree from the University of Lagos, an achievement that left her beaming with pride. The announcement, which was reported by Gossipinfo News, sparked widespread celebrations within and outside the entertainment industry.
Faithia, who described herself as being “at a loss for words,” thanked everyone for making the moment even more special. “I am deeply touched by your kind words, prayers, thoughtful gifts, and your heartfelt presence. You all turned a milestone into a memory we will forever cherish,” she wrote in her Instagram appreciation post.
Joining her in celebrating Khalid’s success was veteran actor and father, Saidi Balogun. Reflecting on his son’s remarkable accomplishment, Saidi shared his joy and gratitude, calling it a healing moment after the loss of one of his daughters in 2024. “What joy is greater than this?” he asked, thanking God for bringing happiness back into his life and praying for Khalid’s continued success.
Faithia concluded her post by saying, “From the depths of my heart, thank you all for your love and support. Khalid’s success is not just ours, but a celebration for everyone who has cheered him on.”
Faithia appreciated her colleagues, family, friends, and fans for making her son’s day more meaningful. She said their love reminds her how blessed they are to have such an incredible community around them.
