Angela Eguavoen firmly expressed her stance, stating, “I am not willing to marry a man who is overly dependent on his mother.”

Renowned Nollywood actress Angela Eguavoen recently shared her perspective on romantic relationships and marriage, emphasizing her reluctance to be involved with a “mummy’s boy.”

During an interview with Saturday Beat, Angela Eguavoen expressed her desire for a partner who respects and listens to someone in his family. However, she made it clear that she wouldn’t entertain the idea of marrying a man who is overly dependent on his mother.

In her own words, she stated, “I cannot marry a mummy’s boy. He has to be a man of himself. Of course, I want a man that has someone in his family that he respects and listens to. He has to be someone who keeps to his words and cannot be easily swayed.”

Angela further revealed her stance on living with relatives, asserting that no family member would reside in her home unless they were sick and in need of care. Being a busy woman, she emphasized her preference for not being responsible for taking care of others on a permanent basis. She believed that in-laws permanently living with a newlywed couple could have negative implications.

When discussing friendships in the Nollywood industry, Angela expressed her cautious approach, explaining that she keeps only a few close friends who have proven their loyalty. She emphasized the importance of mutual benefits in friendships, where both parties contribute and support each other, ensuring that the connection is not one-sided.

Angela Eguavoen eloquently highlighted the ebb and flow of success between individuals, acknowledging that one person may outperform the other at certain times. However, she emphasized that the current success of one person does not preclude the possibility of the other person surpassing them in the future.

In previous statements, Angela made it clear that she values respect in relationships. She stated, “I adore relationships, I cherish love. However, I would rather remain single than be in a relationship with someone who does not respect me, support me, or have my back, especially when it comes to my career. It’s an absolute no-no!” When it comes to marriage, Angela expressed her belief that she will eventually marry the love of her life. However, at present, she is happily single.
