Addressing the criticism, Itele took to Instagram to share his perspective. He explained that his support for Wizkid is a personal choice and urged fans to avoid negativity or hostility toward one another over his musical preferences. Itele reminded his audience that he frequently uses songs from various artists on his page and that his intent is to share what inspires him.
The actor further appealed to his followers to continue spreading love and positivity, emphasizing that his admiration for Wizkid should not overshadow the bond he shares with his true supporters.
