Nollywood filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has broken his silence following his reconciliation with his younger brother, Aremu Afolayan, during their mother’s funeral services.

According to reports, the brothers, who had been estranged for years, mended their relationship after the passing of their mother. A heartwarming video shared on Instagram captured the siblings sitting together at Kunle’s KAP Film Village in Komu, Oyo State, conversing with friends who attended the funeral.

At their mother’s wake keep after on Friday, Kunle Afolayan shared that he isn’t just Aremu’s brother but his father. He noted how he was the one who raised him for 10 years and blamed ladies for spoiling his mind and tearing them apart.

He said, “I am not his brother, I’m his father, I was the one that raised him for 10 years. You ladies are the one pushing him away from him”.
