Famous Nigerian actor Bigvai Jokotoye recently addressed viral videos of veteran actor Funsho Adeolu wearing a U.S. Army uniform, which has sparked speculation about him joining the American military.
The videos, showing Adeolu in full military attire, have raised questions among fans and colleagues, with many wondering if the actor has taken on a new career path abroad.
Internet users were perplexed and wondered if the actor had abandoned his acting career to join the US Army.
Bigvai Jokotoye, a coworker of Funsho Adeolu who also moved overseas some time ago, has responded to the rumor.
This came following a number of videos that surfaced on Funsho Adeolu’s social media pages, maintaining the idea of abandoning his movie career for the American Army.
In the most recent video, the veteran actor was seen in the full Army uniform playing the keyboard, one of his favourite musical instruments while singing a gospel song.
While many have concluded that the actor had truly joined the U.S. Army, Bigvai Jokotoye swung in to correct the notion, stating it is a costume for a movie being shot in America.
Taking to a popular blog’s comment section, Bigvai Jokotoye simply wrote:
“It’s a movie, calm down.”
