Nigerian actress Motilola recently took to her verified social media account to share her discomfort with the chilly UK weather.
In a humorous nod to her roots, she mentioned that people from Ondo often call cold weather “Opapa,” playfully referring to the UK’s cold climate by the same name.
She said when she was in Nigeria she usually complain of cold not knowing that the abroad cold is highly bigger than Nigeria cold.
Motilola said the cold weather condition right now in her location is warm up. This means there is bigger cold weather ahead.
She wrote on her caption “Honestly speaking, I don’t usually do this but mehn….
OPAPA is a lot
My Ondo people please help translate to well meaning Nigerians”
