Nigerian actor Amokade Omotayo, popularly known as Ijebu, has expressed his frustration at being repeatedly cast in gatekeeping roles in movies that lack romantic scenes.
He humorously remarked that he should be allowed to kiss any woman who comes to the house where he works, even if his role is only that of a gatekeeper.
The interpreter asked movie producers to think about his request, which he shared in Yoruba on his Instagram.
His post caught the eye of friends and colleagues, who suggested names for him to kiss in films.
Some mentioned he might be asked to kiss Iya Gbonkan, a well-known actress famous for her evil roles, or Iya Ramota. This made many people laugh.
