Oba Elegushi reacts to fresh claims of fathering Mohbad’s child, Liam

The Oba Elegushi has responded once again to new claims alleging that he fathered the late artist Mohbad’s son, Liam.

There have been questions raised about the paternity of the son of Mohbbad, Liam Aloba. Oba Saheed Elegushi, the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom in Lagos State, has firmly refuted the rumors that they are the father of the singer’s child.

Amidst the commotion surrounding the paternity dispute, an astonishing claim surfaced, indicating that Oba Elegushi might be Mohbad’s son’s father.

A user going by the handle Oloriebimusicproduction2 posted a number of things on his TikTok page. The TikToker made grave claims in these writings, suggesting that the monarch may have contributed to the untimely death of the late Mohbad.

In a widely shared video, the TikToker implied that the singer’s family was being prevented from obtaining justice by the monarchy.

In the statement, the monarch condemned the insinuations made by certain social media users, describing them as a desperate attempt to tarnish his name by entangling him in the paternity dispute involving Liam, the late singer’s son.

Oba Elegushi said that a legal petition has been filed against those making these charges.

The statement reads:

“We would like to respond to a new desperate attempt at dragging His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Elegushi, into the needless paternity dispute over the son of Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

“The widely syndicated falsehood was promoted by some persons with the underlisted profile on the social media app TikTok, namely: Oloriebimusicproduction2, PEKINS RULES, and WESTO4LIVE. Also, the same falsehood is being promoted by Auto Success Ola, Olubukola Jesse, Teni Ologo, and Tolani Ilesanmi.

“This is to inform the public that the allegation is false and a figment of the wicked imaginations of these persons.

“HRM Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, through his lawyers, has filed a petition against these persons with the Nigeria Police and other relevant security agencies in a bid to enforce his fundamental human rights and protect him from cyber bullies, while he is hopeful the Nigeria Police will collaborate with relevant international security organisations in this quest for redress.”
