“Someone’s mother acting like a child” Netizens express disapp0intment in Iyabo Ojo over unseen footage of her b0dy-shamiing pregnant Laura Ikeji (Video)

Unseen footage of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo body-shaming a then-pregnant Laura Ikeji has resurfaced online, putting her back in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

In the clip, the movie star who is one of the cast of Real Housewives of Lagos had body shamed Laura in a pool scene at Salt Beach. Iyabo had stated that Laura Ikeji can’t rock a bikini because she isn’t sexy. Iyabo added that Laura couldn’t come into the pool because of her legs, which she likened to a yam.

During the reunion, Laura noted how Iyabo heavily body-shamed her without knowing she was pregnant.

“When we came downstairs, the first thing Iyabo told me was to wear my bikini to the pool and I can’t show my body because my body isn’t fine. Look at your leg, your leg is big, look at your tummy and I was fùcking pregnant”.

The video has since sparked outrage online with many pointing out the hypocrisy of how Iyabo was fighting for Mohbad, yet was bullying others.

Last year, a heavily pregnant Laura Ikeji criticized Iyabo Ojo, stating that the respect she once held for her as an idol had diminished due to Iyabo’s bullying behavior.

Hitting back at her, Iyabo slammed Laura for playing the victim, pointed out how her blogger sister, Linda Ikeji is the Queen of Bullies, and recounted the lies the famous blogger wrote about her.

In a subsequent post, Ojo vented her frustration at the reality show producers, expressing her struggle to maintain composure for the audience’s sake. However, she couldn’t contain her emotions any longer.

She criticized the production team for their editing choices, deeming them irritating and frustrating. Ojo questioned their decision to omit a specific scene that preceded her outburst.

In an unexpected turn, Iyabo Ojo succumbed to pressure and issued a heartfelt apology to Laura and Faith Morey.

The mother of two denounced any form of bullying, as she stated that she has remained the same person over the years and stands for justice and fairness. However, in the midst of it all, she admitted that she offended some people with her behavior, which are certain attributes to bullies and as such, she is apologizing for it.
