A Nigerian soldier, reuniting with his family after a year-long mission in Maiduguri, Borno state, expresses deep frustration over his inability to afford the N35k transport fare.
In a video making the rounds online, the distraught soldier revealed that he was given a break after spending a year in Maiduguri bush.
Upon reaching the park, he was informed that the transportation cost for the return journey amounted to N35K, which he is unable to afford.
After a brief mental calculation, he discovered that the round-trip transportation cost would total N70K.
Despite earning a monthly salary of only N50K, the soldier decided it was more feasible to return to the bush in Maiduguri due to the unaffordable transport fare.
