Toyin Abraham and Abike Shugaa create a buzz as they unfollow each other on Instagram, sparking speculation and interest among their followers.
Toyin Abraham and Oluwapelumi Olawuni, better known as Abike Shugaa, have unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking speculation of a fallout.
The rift is rumored to stem from Abike Shugaa promoting Funke Akindele’s project, adding fuel to the ongoing quiet social media war between Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele in the movie industry.
Popular Nigerian actress cum filmmaker, Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi and her Malaika co-star Abike Shugaa, who plays the character, Chichi, are reportedly at loggerheads.
The duo have also unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling the speculations.
Naijalegit check on their Instagram accounts on Saturday, January 13, revealed that the actresses are no longer following each other on the photo and video sharing platform. See screenshot below:
It could also be observed that Abike has stopped promoting Malaika on her Instagram account. Her last post about Malaika was on December 29, 2023.
The reason for the recent development is not yet known but many have speculated that Toyin Abraham is upset because Abike promoted Funke Akindele latest film, A Tribe Called Judah which premiered seven days after Malaika.
Others have begun storming the comment section of her Instagram post to accuse her of failing to promote the film despite being a lead cast.
In a similar context, Toke Makinwa and Davido have unfollowed each other on the photo and video sharing social networking service, Instagram.
This comes amid the ongoing dispute between Tiwa Savage and Davido over the singer’s relationship with his first babymama, Sophia Momodu and first child, Imade.
Reacting to the news, some blamed Davido for being at fault while others criticized Toke Makinwa for ‘inheriting her friends’ enemies’.
