Actor Damola Olatunji makes bold declaration as he rejoices with colleagues for escaping death

Yoruba Nollywood actor Damola Olatunji expresses gratitude to his creator for preserving the lives of his colleagues, Mercy Aigbe, Azeez Ijaduade, and the mother of his children, Bukola Arugba.

Naijalegit reported that on Wednesday Bukola Arugba was involved in an accident on Third Mainland Bridge, which left her car severely damaged.

Narrating the incident, she pondered on how her car could crash twice within the space of an hour while adding that no one could imagine the state she was left in.

Two days later, Mercy Aigbe had escaped death, after her car tyre burst on the highway while returning to Lagos from Benin. She described the incident as a scary, horrific, and terrible experience, which left her panicked.

On Sunday, news made rounds that director, Azeez Ijaduade was shot by Nigerian police and has been admitted to Babcock University Teaching Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment and in critical condition.

Following this news, Damola Olatunji took to his Instagram page to rejoice with his colleagues for beating death.

He noted how in a previous post he declared that no member of his household it loved ones shall cry or mourn this festive season.

Noting how the devil is a liar, he quoted some powerful scriptures as he gave thanks for the lives of his colleagues.

“Thank God for Iya Ibeji,
Thank God for Mercy Aigbe,
Thank God for Azeez Ololade Ijaduade.
I said it last week and I am saying it again,
The devil is a liar.
As for me, my household, and my loved ones, we shall not cry nor mourn for the remaining days of this year.
Peace, Love, Happiness, and Joy shall never depart from us”.

He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Psalm 140 1
Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from men of violence who plan to trip my feet. O LORD, I say to you, “You are my God.” Hear, O LORD, my cry for mercy. Let the heads of those who surround me be covered with the trouble their lips have caused. Amen amen and amen”.
