Naira Marley and Sam Larry have been granted a bail of N20 million each after spending several weeks in detention.

Music industry personalities Sam Larry and Naira Marley have been granted bail, with each of them obligated to present three sureties who will be required to post a substantial sum of 20 million naira each.

As part of the conditions for their bail, the court ordered both Sam Larry and Naira Marley to surrender their international passports and comply with a requirement to appear weekly at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

Additionally, the presiding magistrate issued a stern warning, making it clear that any attempts to directly contact her would be documented and could potentially be disclosed during open court proceedings.

Both individuals were taken into custody upon their return to Nigeria after being implicated in the case related to Mohbad’s death.

Social media videos depicted Larry physically assaulting the late Mohbad, while other footage showed individuals, allegedly acting on Marley’s orders, attacking the late rapper.

Here are some reactions from social media:

tufab: They’ve studied Nigerians. They just let tension slow down after a while with silence, then do whatever they want. What was the autopsy result?

_.blessinge: Nigeria πŸ‡³πŸ‡¬ πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ no problem, boys go handle the rest. The case is just for them not to worry, right?

mandy__chuks: If Naira Marley drops a song today, people will still vibe to it. Life has happened, and life goes on πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

wendy_adamma: This country is a joke. Where is the justice?

effedeborah: So in conclusion, all the internet drama was for the government to use and cash out? πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

bright___r: I wasn’t expecting justice to be delivered because this is Nigeria. I’ll just do my part by not streaming any of Naira Marley’s songs again. That’s the least I can do πŸ₯Ή.
